New Additions and A Cow Who Likes Music
Meet Daisy and Rose, our two noisy piglets. They are always hungry, and eat everything from barley to eggs. Sayings like “pigging out” and “eating like a pig” have certainly taken on new meaning!
Their job is to plow up the ground for our veggie patch – which they have no trouble doing. So far we have planted beetroots, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, beans, tomato, basil, and strawberries.
Here’s Peggy, our long awaited Jersey cow. We are so thankful to God for such a calm placid cow.
The previous owners informed us that they always sang to Peggy at milking time. 🙂 They then preceded to tell us that all we had to do was sing to her and she would walk to her milking stall. Some of us tried it out, randomly singing a made-up tune to her over the fence, and over to the milking stall she plodded! Peggy is expecting her calf in the next couple of weeks, so be sure to come back and look at some photos of her cute calf.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
